This first iteration of the Ribbon in Office 2011 offers limited customization capabilities. You can customize the Ribbon by clicking the wheel at the right edge of the Ribbon. The Ribbon doesn’t respond to XML, VBA, or other programmatic customizations. When you choose Ribbon Preferences from the menu, a Ribbon dialog opens.

Another way to access the same dialog is through Application Name→Preferences; then click the Ribbon button. The Ribbon dialog has the following options:. Turn on the Ribbon: When selecting, the Ribbon is on and this is the default setting. To turn the Ribbon off, deselect this setting. Expand Ribbon When Document Opens: When selected, the entire Ribbon is visible when opening a file.

Hey Steve, I have similar issues with a similar environment: Exchange 2010 SP3 Update Rollup 10 (Not Hybrid) Outlook 2016 for Mac either doesn't sync or stops syncing the Inbox. Strangely, my Online Archive DOES sync, and folders under the Inbox also sync. If I set this account up on the same Mac in a VM using Office 2016 for Windows, it works just fine. Deleting and re-adding the account in Outlook for Mac doesn't seem to help, nor does reinstalling. After launching Outlook for Mac and/or after clicking the 'Send & Receive' button, it says it is syncing then says 'All folders are up to date'. Remote Connectivity Analyzer with autodiscover check on my account succeeds with warnings.

Same issues whether I'm remote (on or off VPN), or on premises on internal LAN OSX 10.11.1 Outlook 2016 (15.15 - 151008) Thanks in advance for your assistance Chris. Even same issue, but with me, even the first sync does not happen with mannual setting in outlook 2016. Auto discovery not working at all to configure Exchange 2010 SP3.

Same

I have MacBook Air (so only wireless settings). I think it's a bug need to fix.!! I think it is definitely a bug. If I set up the same account on the same Mac with Outlook 2011, it works just fine. Chris I have the same issue, sort of. Mine syncs OK but not all updates sync back.

I'll delete a message or move it, but when I log back onto my normal PC or my Webmail the message is still in the inbox. Sometimes it does delete/move. Sometimes it doesn't.
